Soundwave Entertainment® is a full time ORLANDO DJ / MC and Lighting company specializing in weddings. Soundwave is owned and managed by Les and Wendy Kopasz.  The company has been in Orlando for 10 years and previously in our hometown, Buffalo, NY.

Soundwave Entertainment recently was honored with the Vendor’s Choice Awards for Best DJ company.  This prestigious award was be presented to us based on votes by fellow Orlando wedding vendors. We are also named Best Wedding DJ company in Orlando by The Knot Magazine and we proudly maintain a perfect 5-star ratings with Weddingwire.com.

Soundwave Entertainment provides customized DJ music and LED specialty lighting for about 225 – 250 Orlando weddings yearly. We DJ weddings of 400 guests, destination weddings from abroad, and intimate celebrations of 20.  Each of our DJs only works one wedding a day in order to stay focused on your wedding celebration.

The Soundwave DJ Wedding Team includes 5 experts — Owner DJ Les Kopasz is a master emcee and career DJ. Les’ 20 years of DJ and entertainment expertise includes night club, radio, weddings, events and special celebrations. He has dee jayed more than 3000 weddings!  Soundwave Partner DJ Phil Joeckel is a a Disney certified wedding jock and Master MC. DJ Paul Viola, a well known Orlando DJ with a wealth of wedding expertise and technical knowledge. James Van Deven is Les’ protege and is gearing up to become a Soundwave Partner.  Our Latin bilingual specialist is DJ Ray Vales.

DJ Les’ wife, Wendy Kopasz, is an integral part of Soundwave with her extensive marketing, public relations and event management background. Wendy works side by side with Les and their Orlando DJs and manages every wedding. She also works weddings every weekend as an DJ Assistant helping Soundwave DJs.  We also have Sylvia Cruz and Tiffany Aspinwall on board assisting our wedding DJs.

Soundwave is also a specialty lighting company.  We offer THE NEWEST LED Wall Uplighting technology available on the market.  We are thrilled to have the exclusive for this specific technology in Orlando. Our LED Wall Uplighting literally paints your ballroom with color.  Our LEDs are battery operated and controlled remotely so there are no wires!  We also offer Name / Monogram in Lights and Cake Pinspotting.
