Lisa and Daniel perfectly matched romance and excitement with their May 29, 2022 wedding at the Highland Manor in Apopka, Florida. Their day started with a peaceful outdoor ceremony and the night ended with Spark Fountains and Hora Loca dancers. We loved celebrating with Lisa and Daniel and are so happy that we get to now share it with you!

Exchanging Wedding Vows Under a Shady Tree at Highland Manor

The couple hosted their wedding ceremony on the grounds of the Highland Manor. Guests enjoyed a calm breeze while relaxing under the canopy of an old tree that hung with Spanish moss.

In respecting the intimate, unplugged ceremony, our team used a minimal sound design that allowed guests to hear the ceremony without detracting from the natural ambiance.  The officiant, who was actually the groom’s father, wore a lavaliere microphone discreetly on his suit. We staged a single microphone on a stand to the side of the couple for a guest reading.

Lisa walked down the aisle to Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz (version by 101 Strings Orchestra.) She and Daniel exchanged their vows together in front of family and friends, and then sealed their promised with rings and a kiss. After the father of the groom pronounced them to be husband and wife, Lisa and Daniel walked back up the aisle to Good Life (Radio Edit) by Kanye West (ft. T-Pain.)

Introducing the Newlyweds with Soundwave Entertainment

After guests enjoyed cocktail hour, it was time for everyone to head into the ballroom and find their seats.

The Soundwave LED Lighting team highlighted the best parts of the Highland Manor space with a series of lighting elements. We provided 18 Wall Uplights in a candlelight color creating a warm and romantic feel.  Pinspotting highlighted the newlywed table and wedding cake. And finally, our dance lights and our new SPARK FOUNTTAINS added excitement and surprise!

Soundwave DJ Ray Vales was on hand to kick off the evening with style and fun. As he played Bring ‘Em Out by TI, DJ Ray introduced the wedding party along with the new Mr. and Mrs. Nucete!

The newlyweds entered the center of the dance floor and enjoyed their first dance as husband and wife to Alicia Keys’ If I Ain’t Got You. As soon as they began dancing, Soundwave set off the Spark Fountains which made for both a poignant moment and a beautiful photo opportunity.

After the first dance, everyone enjoyed a welcome from the bride and groom, toasts, and a blessing by the mother of the bride. A buffet dinner followed and guests dined to a Guardians of the Galaxy music mix.

Lisa and Daniel cut their wedding cake to Cut the Cake by Average White Band. Then, guests enjoyed both the mother-son and father-daughter dances.

When it was time to bring more guests onto the dance floor, DJ Ray invited couples out for the anniversary dances. Throughout a series of songs, guests who had been married for 30+ years were invited to dance, followed by guests married for 25+ years, and so on. The dance floor filled with couples in no time! When the anniversary dances ended, DJ Ray opened the dance floor to everyone. It was time to party!

Feeling the Celebration with an Hour Loca

The party kicked up a notch during the Hora Loca. An LED robot and dancer entered the dance floor and got everyone on their feet! DJ Ray helped to amp up the party vibe with a mix of Latin and American songs that kept the crowd going wild, of course the Spark Fountains added the excitement.

The hora loca ended, but the dancing didn’t! DJ Ray took requests and had everyone dancing long into the night.

Finally, it was time for the party to end. Guests danced a final song to Mr. Brightside by The Killers before leaving the reception area. When they were all alone, Lisa and Daniel enjoyed a final dance in private to Taylor Swift’s Love. We broke out the Fountain Sparklers one last time and gave the newlyweds an ending to their wedding that we hope they never forget!

John and Adam’s handsome tropical wedding took place at Paradise Cove.  The grooms’ celebration was nothing short of fun from beginning to end. They truly made March 7, 2022 a memorable night for all of their guests. From the ceremony to the grooms’ exit, we were ready to create the party atmosphere that they wanted.

Tropical Ceremony

The groom’s selected each song for the ceremony including prelude songs.  An assortment of piano covers by The Piano Guys set the mood for their tropical union.

Getting the Party Started

The Groom’s made their grand entrance into the Key West styled pavilion at Paradise Cove.  They danced to Love Like This by Ben Rector.  John and Adam then welcomed their guests to their tropical celebration before a fabulous meal by Arthurs Catering.

Everyone on the Dance Floor

Once the guests’ bellies and hearts were full, it was time to get everyone on the dance floor. Soundwave DJ Les Kopasz played throwbacks from the 80s to the 2000s and mixed them to really pump up the crowd.  The grooms and guests danced the night away until it was time to say goodnight. And of course, there was no better song to end the night with other than Bye Bye Bye by NSync! Congratulations to John and Adam on your special day, we loved celebrating it with you!

Margaritaville Wedding

Nicole and Jason’s wedding at Margaritaville Resort on March 26, 2022 was a perfect mix of romance and glamour. We always love working our magic at Margaritaville Resort and celebrating our couples. Nicole and Jason’s wedding was no exception!

Romantic Cocktail Hour

The newlywed’s cocktail hour was held in the tropical outdoor space. Guests enjoyed a summer pop vocalist mix by Soundwaves DJ and Owner Les Kopasz. Following the cocktail hour at this Margaritaville Resort wedding, guests moved to the Grand Ballroom. The room was beautifully decorated with romantic roses, gold accents, and white linen. Details glowed under the soft highlights of our 24 LED Wall Uplights. We also created a Monogram in Lights that was projected on the main focal wall.

Glamour in Paradise and Surprise Spark Fountains

DJ Les Kopasz added to the glam when he introduced the wedding party from our upgraded all-white sound system with enhanced dance lights…we call her The Optimus! The newlyweds shared their first dance to From the Ground Up by Dan and Shay.  As the bride and groom swayed to their 1st dance, Soundwave remotely set off two Spark  Fountains.  Spark Fountains are totally safe and smokeless, and cold to the touch; the technology is amazing.  The guests were in awe as the sparks shot 10 feet in the air on the left and right of the couple creating a spectacular visual display!  It was a picture-perfect moment for a magical night!

DJ Les was given creative liberty to choose most of the playlist, so he had a blast with keeping the dance floor packed as the guest had fun with glow sticks. As the night wore on, guests danced to a collection of classic hits and new tunes. Finally, it was time for everyone to say goodnight. Guests headed outside to wait for the newlyweds, and Nicole and Jason enjoyed a private last dance in a quiet ballroom. We had so much fun celebrating the newlyweds at their Margaritaville Resort wedding – congratulations to Nicole and Jason!

Geena and Mike’s Central Florida wedding was a lovely and fun affair from beginning to end. Held on March 26, 2022, their wedding at the Lake Mary Events Center featured plenty of opportunities for unique lighting designs from our experts at Soundwave. This is always a fun venue to transform and we were excited to return to one of our favorite stomping grounds.

Soft like the sky in lighting design
Geena and Mike opted for an intimate ceremony on their special day. Their ceremony space featured floor-to-ceiling windows and endless amounts of natural light. In the ballroom, we brought gentle color our LED lights, which illuminated the room in a quiet blue that reflected the wedding colors. Our Pinspots highlighted the newlywed table and the wedding cake. We also used the lighting design to frame the newlyweds’ silver accents. From every detail, we complemented Geena and Mike’s vision for their wedding at the Lake Mary Events Center.

Cool in blue
After the ceremony at the all-white floral trellis, it was time to get the party started. Soundwave Entertainment’s DJ David Regueiro set the stage for a grand entrance into the ballroom. As guests took their seats, Raise Your Glass, by Pink kicked off the wedding party introductions and the reception.  DJ David introduced the newlyweds just before they shared their first dance as husband and wife to Lifetime, Justin Bieber.

When the bride becomes the DJ
As the night went on, guests enjoyed a few surprises from this fun bride and groom. At one point, the bride even took a turn behind the DJ booth! Geena was a natural at having fun on the mic and giving her friends and family some dance mixes. The laughter was contagious as the guests danced the night away. Celebrations ended with final final closing song of Don’t Stop Believing, Journey. Then, it was time to really say “don’t stop believing” in this magical evening with a sparkler sendoff for Geena and Mike.

Michelle and Rylan celebrated their vintage country wedding March 26, 2022, at the lavish Luxmore Grande Estate.  This wedding was near and dear to our hearts as Michelle was a previous Orlando wedding planner we used to work side by side with very often.  It’s always an honor when fellow industry experts choose Soundwave to be part of their wedding!

A Match Made in Heaven

Above all that we saw at the wedding, Michelle and Rylan’s love for each other stood out the most. You could feel the attraction between them the moment you entered the room! It was no surprise that they chose chic, timeless pieces for their wedding attire, decor and playlists. The vintage-inspired gown with lace detailing, the bowties with the suits, the elegant tablescapes and floral arrangements worked together to tie in the vintage country wedding theme. The cherry on top was the throwback love songs that played all night long! Peppered with, of course, country music.

“I Do”

First, the bride and groom gave the people what they wanted with a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony. The vintage country wedding was off to a great start. A harpist played as Michelle floated down the aisle toward her groom. She and her father wore matching grins from ear to ear. Their union was sealed with a kiss, and cocktail hour began. DJ Justin stepped up with a custom mix of instrumental favorites, dating all the way back to the ’60s. With such a wide variety of music, it was important to maintain the vibe. That’s why we carefully selected each piece of music with care specifically for their event. It was a seamless transition. First, we were hearing a harpist play live during the ceremony. Next, we’re sipping cocktails to instrumental versions of our favorite vintage hits by Elvis Presley, The Bee Gees and more.

Wedding Bliss

Next, we moved into the grand ballrooml where more vintage country wedding details awaited with perfect southern charm. But first, we had a touch of modern. I’m On Top of the World, by Imagine Dragons welcomed the parents and grandparents for the first part of introductions. Second, Bring Em’ Out, by TI was the backing track to our newlywed’s arrival to the party. They went right into their first dance, Keeper of the Stars. From there, it was back to back greatest hits ranging from our all-time country faves to classic love songs. The bride and groom requested songs like Love Shack, by the B-52’s, My Best Friend, by Tim McGraw, and Sweet Caroline, by Neil Diamond. DJ Justin  served us nothing but vibes up until Don’t Stop Believing, by Journey came on as the last dance.

Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow

Finally, the time has come to say goodbye. The guests gathered their things and prepared to send off the new bride and groom out on the patio. But first, Michelle and Rylan stole away for one last intimate moment. I Crossed My Heart, by George Strait was the bride and groom’s private dance. And just like that, holding each other arm in arm, their vintage country wedding ended the very same way it had began.

April showers bring May flowers, but on April 2, 2022 the showers brought a change of plans! Sandra and Nick were all set to have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony for their elegant wedding with party vibes at Mission Inn. But the rain quickly brought the ceremony indoors! Our team had no problem switching gears and we seamlessly transitioned to an indoor ceremony. Thankfully, none of the elegance was lost. And soon, guests were drinking and dancing with the bride and groom for a night to remember.

The Set Up

Ceremony location change? No problem! We set up our ceremony system, complete with a speaker and lavaliere mic for the officiant in the ballroom, among the reception tables. La Hacienda at Mission Inn is a gorgeous setting for any event, but this elegant wedding with party vibes was next level. The themes of blue and gold shone beautifully throughout. Our 18 LED wall uplights set to soft blue tied the whole look together. What a difference they made to the ambiance! The cake was highlighted with 1 pinspot. To complete everything, the bride and groom’s names were displayed on the wall in lights.

Saying “I Do”

While Sandra and Nick might have been disappointed with the rain changing their plans, they sure didn’t look it! We could tell that they were excited to be married, and that was what mattered most to them. The show must go on! As live music from a harpist floated gently through the air, the elegant wedding with party vibes was underway. Finally, the couple went from engaged to married as the officiant called for a kiss. After, their guests cheered with teary eyes.

Can We Dance Yet?

With a quick transition to reception, guests found their seats in the ballroom. It was time for this elegant wedding to turn up the party vibes! First, DJ David Regueiro put on I’ve Got A Feelin’ by the Black Eyed Peas and announced the wedding party and newlyweds. Sandra and Nick went right into their first dance to Growing Old with You by Restless Road. After the parent dances, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. We loved sharing in these sweet, sentimental moments! Meals were served to a custom playlist of instrumental music. The couple cut their wedding cake to Sugar by Maroon 5.

Turn It Up!

After cutting their cake, the bride and groom gave a thank you speech to their guests. Next, DJ David played the anniversary dances to honor the couples who were in attendance. After all, marriage was the reason that we were all together that day! Finally, the lights turned down and we knew what that meant! A high-energy mix blew through the room with hits like Baby Got Back by Sir Mix a Lot, Electricity by Dua Lipa, Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, and What is Love by Haddaway. The mix was absolutely perfect for their elegant wedding with party vibes. Next, The Cupid Shuffle had everyone up on their feet. And Wobble had us heading to the bar for another drink! DJ David kept it comin’ with more from 70s rock, the 80s and 90s, early 2000’s chart-toppers, and current hits.

Say Goodbye

What a beautiful evening this elegant wedding with party vibes had been.  DJ David called for the last dance. Don’t Stop Believing by Journey played like an anthem and all of the guests joined together on the dancefloor. The guests sang and danced their hearts out! After the final song, guests gathered their belongings and got ready for the send-off. Meanwhile, the new couple shared a private moment on the dancefloor. With the entire wedding ballroom to themselves, This Is It by Scott McCreery gave them a quiet, intimate moment to take in their night together. Finally, they ran outside under a shower of sparklers and shared one final kiss at their elegant wedding with party vibes. Then, with very full hearts, they went off to start their life together.

In the last few weeks of Florida winter, on February 25, 2022, Rebecca and Aaron tied the knot at The Alfond Inn, Winter Park. The couple selected a gorgeous color palette of deep colors like black, gold and crimson throughout their outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. In addition, they requested fun pop hits all about love from artists like Coldplay and Taylor Swift. The combination was perfect for their romantic winter wedding, and we loved every upbeat moment!

But First, Set Up

Hours before all the festivities, Soundwave Entertainment arrived onsite with our crew.  First, we set up the officiant’s lavaliere microphone and speakers for the outdoor ceremony. Meanwhile, the ballroom was quickly becoming a romantic winter wedding wonderland. Alongside the rich colors on the tabletops, we set up Centerpiece Pinspots Lights to illuminate the beautiful floral. The walls appeared to glow with soft candlelight thanks to our 24 LED Uplights set to Candle Light Color. This addition has always been a popular choice among our clients, and it added so much depth and warmth to Rebecca and Aaron’s wedding! With the reception sound system, we also set up our Optimus Luxury Sound System. This is an all white, grand sound system offered exclusively by our very own, DJ Les Kopasz.

Let the Ceremony Begin

To start the ceremony, “Ladies and gentlemen, the ceremony is beginning” was announced gently over the speakers. Guests quickly finished their mingling and turned their attention toward the aisle. Dearly Beloved – Kingdom Hearts, by Vitamin String Quartet welcomed the guests of honor and wedding party. Next, A Thousand Years, by The Piano Guys stirred the emotions of everyone in attendance as Rebecca glided down the aisle on her father’s arm. After the vows and the kiss, Whole Lives, by Jake Scott ushered the ceremony out into the cocktail hour. While guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres, Soundwave played a custom instrumental mix of love songs from both old and new artists – perfect for a romantic winter wedding.

Celebration Central

Never Gonna Give You Up, by Rick Astley played as the wedding party rick-rolled down into the reception area. This fun energy continued through the romantic winter wedding after an intimate moment between the bride and groom. If You Love Her by Forest Blakk ft. Megan Trainor was the anthem for the newlywed’s first dance. Then came speeches, the meal, dances with the parents, and the cutting of the cake. Finally, it was time to dance!

Get Up Outta’ Your Seat!

DJ Les fired off hits from Taylor Swift, classics from the ’80s, jams from the ’90s, hits from the 2000s and today’s chart-toppers. We even got some great photo ops with crowd participation dances like Cha Cha Slide and Cupid Shuffle. It was such a fun, flirty atmosphere we won’t soon forget. DJ Les made the call for last dance, and everyone poured onto the dance floor for a wild round of Party in the USA, by Miley Cyrus. Then, we dropped it way back, with slow, soft music as guests left the reception to line up for the farewell. But first, Rebecca and Justin shared a private last dance to Come Away with Me. Finally, they made their way outside to their waiting guests, and ran off hand-in-hand into their future together.

On a gorgeous late afternoon in the Florida winter, Kellie and Franklin stood in the courtyard of Bella Collina and said “I do” among all of their family and friends. The sunset was low in the sky, touching the very tops of the trees. Its soft glow cast glittery rays of sunlight across all of the guests. This was the perfect start to a beautiful golden Bella Collina wedding! The night only got better from there.

Courtyard Ceremony

The outdoor scenery at Bella Collina was simply breathtaking. The grandiose exterior wall of stonework, accented with gorgeous architecture, was a stunning backdrop for any wedding. Unquestionably, Kellie and Franklin’s special day on Sunday, January 16, 2022 was no exception. The ceremony was elegant, with beautifully placed floral blooms. The bride and groom looked simply divine in their traditional wedding attire. You couldn’t have asked for a more picture-perfect day!

Soundwave Set Up

After stepping into the Bella ballroom, you could see that our team had been hard at work. In the background, 24 LED Wall Uplights set to “warm glow” for this golden Bella Collina wedding shone brilliantly. They bathed the room in the warmth of gentle candlelight. In addition, we highlighted the wedding cake with a Pinspot Light. After our couples spend so much care and consideration choosing their cakes, we don’t want them to go unnoticed!

Time to Celebrate

As the guests filtered into the reception, Soundwave Owner DJ Les Kopasz was ready to go. First came the introductions of the wedding party and newlyweds. And can you guess what song they had picked for this moment? That’s right, Golden, by Harry Styles welcomed them to the room and straight into their first dance. Coming Home, by Leon Bridges had everyone feeling sentimental as the new couple held each other on the dance floor. After welcomes, speeches, and a blessing, it was time to eat! During dinner, we played a music mix based on the iconic soundtrack from “Guardians of the Galaxy.” It has always been a crowd favorite! Next, as the meal finished, the newlyweds each danced with their parents. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Then, we took a sharp left turn for some much-needed dancing relief!

Turn It Up

Is it just us, or has Whitney Houston’s iconic “IIIIIIII wanna dance with somebody!” become the universal call to the dance floor? This golden throwback was an excellent kick off for dancing. From there, DJ Les kept up the older hits from artists like The Beatles, Elton John and even 80’s hairbands. In addition, current hits came into play. The couple requested early 2000s pop hit like “Yeah” by Usher, and DJ Les made it all fit seamlessly for a night to remember. Our dance lights brought the perfect touch of energy against the warm, cozy ambiance of our golden Bella Collina wedding.

That’s a Wrap!

Finally, after everyone has danced the night away, DJ Les played our second to last song, Don’t Stop Believing, by Journey. After this crowd favorite, the call for final song came in with Shut Up and Dance, by Walk the Moon. Whew! What an unforgettable evening. We played soft music as guests filtered through the exit to prepare for the bride and groom’s send off. Meanwhile, the newlyweds stole a special intimate moment for a private dance to La Vie En Rose, by Louis Armstrong. Lastly, guests held their sparklers high as Kellie and Franklin ran hand-in-hand towards their happily ever after.

Shani and Matthew’s icy blue wedding at Bella Collina warmed our hearts. On December 8, 2021 we helped these newlyweds celebrate in grand style. Our lighting options created a perfect balance of intimate warmth and winter hues. And our very own DJ and Owner Les Kopasz, spun out the best tunes for a mix that was not too hot and not too cold.

Outdoor Ceremony

First, the wedding began with A River Flows in You, by Yiruma as the wedding party glided to their places. Next, the bride walked down the aisle to a gorgeous classic, Canon in D, by Brooklyn Duo.  Among family and friends, Shani and Matthew said “I do” after exchanging hand-written vows. They stood beneath a decorative arch, decorated in greenery and blooms of soft pastels, draped in wintery shades of ice blue, all to echo Shani’s stunning bouquet. After they exchanged their vows, All of Me, by Daniel Jang played to cheer the newlyweds back up the aisle towards their new future. Next, guests partook in cocktail hour at the Bella Collina Reflection Pool, enlivened by a custom 2000s Pop Instrumental Mix.

Reception Lighting and Design

Peeking into Bella Collina’s ballroom, we saw the same color schemes to perfectly compliment the icy blue wedding palette. Soft pastels and wintery hues once again thoughtfully displayed among the decor.  Soundwave set up 24 LED Wall Uplights in very soft icy blue. Second, our pinspot lights shown on the newlywed table and the cake table. Pinspot lights help draw attention and focus, and it was all eyes on the bride and groom! The Designer DJ Front Board in Walnut tied the image together with elegance.

Raise a Glass to the Bride and Groom

Happy guests filtered in and found their seats. DJ Les introduced the couples while Happy, by Pharrell Williams played. Finally, the new Mr. and Mrs. Mattera were announced and guests clapped and cheered. The happy couple shared a romantic moment during their first dance to “Truly Madly Deeply” by Savage Garden. Next, Matthew hopped on the mic to welcome their guests. Then, each of their fathers took turns giving a heart-felt toast. The best man and co-maids of honor finished off the toasts, and everyone drank to the newlyweds’ future together. Sugar Pie Honey Bunch, by Four Tops set the playful vibe as the couple ceremoniously cut into their wedding cake. Just when we thought we were done with the tears, the groom danced with his mother to My Wish by Rascal Flatts and the bride danced with her father to You Raise Me Up by Celtic Woman.

Time to Celebrate

Finally, one of our personal favorite moments began. Dimming the lights always seems to be the universal signal for “time to turn it up” – and we love it! DJ Les took full advantage of his time to shine, playing a perfectly curated mix specifically for the Matteras.  The bride and groom requested a slightly reserved vibe, and we delivered. Classic disco, 70’s – 80’s rock and hairbands, 80’s – 90’s throwbacks, early 2000s hits, and current chart toppers spun all night. Songs like Shivers, by Ed Sheeran; You and I, by John Legend; Killing Me Softly, by Joseph Vincent, and of course Can’t Help Falling in Love, by none other than Elvis Presley wrapped us all up in the energy of the night.

Saying Goodbye

Matthew and Shani requested Best Day of My Life, by American Authors as the second-to-last song. Full of that feeling of wanting to make the most of every special moment, everyone piled to the dance floor for one last song. Living on a Prayer, by Bon Jovi carried us off into the night.  As the guests exited the ballroom, they made their way to the valet area for a grand farewell with sparklers.   During this time, once the ballroom was totally empty,  Matt and Shani had one last private dance together to You are the Reason, by Calum Scott and Leona Lewis. Lastly, the newlyweds appeared at the exit and ran joyfully down one last aisle, yet again. The crowd of smiling, cheering faces and sparkling lights sent Matthew and Shani Mattera off into the night to begin their new future together. What a beautiful evening!

On December 27, 2021, just a few days after Christmas, Cary and David said “I Do” at Paradise Cove, Orlando, with all of the personal touches you’d want in a Magical Winter Wedding. Complete with whimsical Disney Instrumental music and Harry Potter themes throughout, it was a night to remember.

The Outdoor Ceremony

First, a harpist welcomed the guests in with warm, inviting melodies. Next, like a scene from your favorite action movie, “The Final Countdown” by Europe interjected as the groom and his groomsmen pulled up in a speed boat. After their arrival, the harpist resumed the ceremony soundtrack for the bridesmaids, the bride, and the recessional. We loved the view at the altar with the tall trees, hanging Spanish moss, and lakeside background. Don’t forget, outdoor doesn’t have to mean bad acoustics! Thanks to our ceremony speaker system and the lavaliere microphone worn by the officiant, guests heard the vows loud and clear.

Time to Celebrate

Afterward, we moved underneath the pavilion, lit up with twinkle lights as far as the eye could see. The ambiance was truly perfect for a magical winter wedding. The sweetheart table had quotes from Harry Potter and his and hers magic wands. No doubt that Ollivander himself couldn’t have picked a more perfect setting to suit our bride and groom! They shared their first dance to “The Way You Look Tonight” by Tony Bennett. Next, our reception system of speakers and microphones allowed for flawless speeches from both the maid of honor and best man.

While we might not have actual floating candles like at Hogwarts, we did bring some magic of our own with Soundwave LED Lighting. Thoughtfully placed around the reception, each one gave off a candlelit, ethereal glow. In the background, 4 LED Lights amped up the winter vibes with blue tones on the trees. And we can’t forget the cake! But how could you, when it’s lit up with our cake spot light? Music and lighting to fit the mood, plus good food, made for a dazzling and memorable magical winter wedding. If that wasn’t magical enough, the plated meal was enjoyed during a custom Disney Instrumental Mix from our own DJ / MC Ray Vales. Afterward, the cake cutting was to “Hedwig’s Theme” by John Williams from Harry Potter. The music was just perfect to make our Potterhead bride and groom dreams come true!

Get Your Groove On

Regardless of your favorite part of weddings, when that bass starts pumping, and our dance lights start poppin, you start dancing! DJ/ MC Ray Vales delivered a mix of 60-80’s rock, country, Latin vibes with salsa and merengue, and 90’s-2000’s Pop and Hip Hop. Tons of crowd participation favorites kept us on our toes with classics like “Cupid Shuffle,” “Electric Slide,” “Cha Cha Slide,” and “Shout.” Special requests from the bride and groom included hits like “Shake Your Body” by Michael Jackson, “Right Thurr” by Chingy, “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It” by Dem Franchise Boyz, and even “Fat Lip” by Sum 41.

Among all the dancing was another crowd favorite: our Digital Photo Booth! It captured magical moments from guests and texted the pictures instantly. What a great way to break up the evening while keeping the energy high! Also, the prop table provided extra laughs for each shot.

Send Off

DJ Ray Vales made the last call for dancing, and everyone gave it their all to “Never Gonna Give You Up” by none other than Rick Astley. What a great night! Guests gathered their belongings and headed to the exit. The new Mr. and Mrs. Valdes shared one last Harry Potter tribute moment with their wands to seal their Magical Winter wedding. The bride and groom waved goodbye to their friends and family as a symbolic cascade of bubbles and good fortune rained down. And the day ended just as it started, with a speed boat zooming off into the horizon. Congratulations, Cary and David! May all your dreams come true.
