The Alfond Inn, nestled in the heart of Winter Park, was transformed into a green wonderland for the enchanted forest wedding of Matilda and Sean. Soundwave provided DJ and extensive LED Lighting Design to bring the bride and groom’s vision to life.  We worked closely with Wedding Planner, Pavone Events, and Raining Roses, florist, to create this fairytale reception.

A gentle abundance of soft, romantic LED Wall Uplighting set the stage for these two lovebirds. The focal point of the Lighting Design was Wall Texturing.  The Wall Texturing is how we illuminated the tree / forest design on the main focal wall.  To illuminate trees on the entire wall, we used 3 high powered LED projection machines with “forest” gobos.  Additionally, the oversized centerpiece trees and floral were illuminated with LED lights. Twenty-four Wall Uplights in candlelight color gave the room a sweeping glow.

Soundwave Owner DJ Les Kopasz kicked off the reception by introducing the wedding party to “Jump In The Line” by Harry Belafonte. The newlyweds then danced to “A Thousand Years (ft Evynne Hollens and Lindsey Stirling)” by Peter Hollens.

DJ Les played a custom list of Celtic music as the guests enjoyed their dinner. The guests enjoyed the Newlywed Game, featuring a host of questions about Matilda and Sean. Afterward, the bride and groom cut the cake to Eat It by Weird Al.

Guests hit the dance floor for a high-energy mix of Alternative, Disco/Funk, 70’s rock, and throwback ’80s-’90s. The night came to a close with the lights dimming and the aptly-titled Closing Time by Semisonic. Then, guests escorted the bride and groom outside for a final goodbye under the stars, closing the evening on this Celtic-inspired, enchanted forest wedding at the Alfond Inn.

Love is Paradise, and that’s exactly how the brides Meagen and Steffanie felt on May 21, 2021. The romantic island vibe of Paradise Cove in Central Florida was the perfect backdrop. Set against acres of lush Floridian foliage, Paradise Cove offers a variety of breathtaking lakeside spaces for you to celebrate with up to 300 of your biggest fans.

Meagan and Steffanie added creative touches throughout their own ceremony, including personal vows and a violinist accompaniment to our Soundwave’s Latin Expert DJ & MC, Ray Vales. The officiant, who was a close friend to the brides, was supplied a lavaliere microphone by Soundwave to ensure that friends and family could listen to the heartfelt dedication. After the brides shared their first kiss as a married couple, they exited down the aisle to cheers from the joyful crowd and the song “We Found Love” by Rihanna.

The reception began with introductions by DJ Ray Vales, and he set the excitement for the brides’ entrances as the newly pronounced: Mrs. Meagen and Steffanie Riccardo. The newlyweds shared a touching first dance to “Better Place” by Rachel Platten. Gold chivari chairs, classic and beautiful navy accents, candles, and tropical florals added a layer of warmth and elegance to the room.

Guests hit the dance floor and enjoyed being able to make requests for their favorite current hits. The newlyweds also had a list of favorites to add to DJ Ray’s collection of fan favorites. Toasts, dinner, cake cutting, and parent dances rounded out the evening. A great surprise was the brides and their brothers sharing a dance to “Hey Brother” by Tessa Rose Jackson.

“What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong was the perfect song to end the evening as guests gathered around for one final dance. With a cool breeze sweeping through the dance floor and the reflection of the moon over the water, Paradise Cove was the perfect setting for a perfect wedding.

James and Karsyn’s Margaritaville Resort wedding, May 15, 2021, felt like a destination wedding to a tropical paradise. Held at the Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, FL, guests felt as though they had been whisked away on a Caribbean vacation complete with beautiful lagoon-style pools, tropical pool bars, and stunning coastal decor.

The couple’s unplugged ceremony began as exquisite bride Karsyn was escorted down the aisle to “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. The newlyweds exchanged vows in a lovely outdoor ceremony beneath the shade of Florida palm trees, as 90 of their closest friends and family members looked on.

Following cocktail hour in the prefunction area to the ballroom, steel drums serenaded guests as they began to be seated for the reception in the Grand Ballroom. Beautifully decorated with tropical florals and soft LED Wall Uplighting – the ballroom had an inviting coastal vibe.

Soundwave Owner DJ Les Kopasz introduced the wedding party to “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO, then Mr. and Mrs. Hale were announced to “Best Love Song” by T Pain and Chris Brown. The newlyweds danced to “Better Together” by Luke Combs before groom James formally welcomed their guests.

The evening was a lovely mix of dinner, parent dances, cake cutting, and open dancing. DJ Les was given creative liberty to choose most of the playlist and kept the dance floor packed with a solid mix of 80s rock, throwback 80s-90s, early 2000s, country, and current hits. The night drew to a close as “Don’t Wanna Go Home” by Jason Derulo was played for the last dance with guests. After everyone had gathered outside for a formal farewell, the newlyweds shared a sweet private dance to “Under My Skin” by Nate Smith, closing out the evening on their tropical Margaritaville Resort wedding.

Held at the stunning Estate on the Halifax, Jessica and Gary’s wedding on March 26, 2021, was classic and elegant. The Estate on the Halifax is an idyllic Central Florida wedding venue located in Port Orange. Historic buildings sprawl over the 10-acre estate on the banks of the Halifax river, including a tavern, chapel, cottage house, and two estate homes.

Friends and family gathered for a beautiful outdoor garden ceremony. Jessica and Gary exchanged vows beneath the gazebo and walked down the aisle to “You’re My Best Friend” by Queen after being pronounced husband and wife.

Soundwave DJ Les Kopasz, Owner, began the reception by announcing the bridal party to “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne. The newlyweds shared a sweet first dance to “Into the Mystic” by Van Morrison under the warm twinkling lights in the reception space. Gold chivari chairs, classic white table linens, and beautiful baby’s breath floral arrangements adorned the reception tables. Soundwave provided wall uplights in a warm candle light glow on the drapes, which added a layer of warmth and elegance to the room.

Guests hit the dance floor and enjoyed a mix of 70s-80s rock, disco, throwback 80s-90s, early 2000s, and current hits. Toasts, dinner, cake cutting, and parent dances rounded out the evening. The greatest surprise of the evening was the bride and groom serenading guests to karaoke renditions of “Shallow” and “Valerie.”

At last, everyone gathered around for one final dance as “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen played. As guests gathered outside for a sparkler sendoff, Mr. & Mrs. Bowen shared a private last dance to “Speechless” by Dan and Shay, closing out this elegant evening wedding at Estate on the Halifax.

Rachel and Shane’s Cypress Grove Estate House wedding, May 8, 2021, was full of elegance and southern charm. The Cypress Grove Estate House is a vintage 1925 home located in Orlando, just a few minutes South of Downtown, situated on 80 acres of lush, lakeside grounds. This highly sought-after Orlando wedding venue is known for its tree-lined streets, aged oak and cypress trees, radiant seasonal flowers, and perfectly manicured lawns.

The couple exchanged vows under a stunning brick-paved gazebo on the shores of Lake Jessamine. Rachel was a vision in her intricate lace gown as she walked down the aisle to “Invisible String” by Taylor Swift. The newlyweds took advantage of the beautiful spring weather to host an outdoor reception in the courtyard of the estate. Vibrant floral arrangements and fuchsia table linens adorned the tables, bringing a touch of spring to the space.

Soundwave DJ Dennis Michael began the reception by announcing the bridal party to “Combatchy” ft MC Rebecca, Anitta, Lexa & Luisa Sonza. Then, the newlyweds shared their first dance to “The Bones” by Maren Morris & Hozier, dancing beneath the market lights.

The evening was full of joy and laughter as guests indulged in a delicious meal catered by Big City Catering, toasts, bouquet and garter tosses, and cake. The party was in full force when guests hit the dance floor.

Many guests knew each other from UCF, so Rachel & Shane wanted a high-energy party vibe. DJ Dennis Michael kept the dance floor full with a mix of alternative songs, throwbacks, and 2000s and current day pop and urban hits, with a few participation dances sprinkled in the mix. As the evening wound down, Mr. and Mrs. Meckler shared one final dance with guests to “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. Everyone gathered outside the front of the house for a final farewell, as the newlyweds danced under the stars to “Meu Abrigo” by Melim for their private last dance, closing out the evening on this elegant Cypress Grove Estate House wedding.

Samantha and Brendan’s Bella Collina summertime soirée was stunning and vibrant. The celebration was held at the idyllic Bella Collina, one of Central Florida’s premier wedding venues, June 4, 2021. Bella Collina feels like a destination wedding venue but is conveniently located in Montverde, Florida – just 20 minutes west of Downtown Orlando. Exquisite Mediterranean architecture, vast rolling hills, and five-star service rank it as one of Orlando’s most sought after wedding venue locations.

Samantha was absolutely breathtaking as she walked down the aisle to “Bridal Chorus” by Sally Fletcher, clutching a vibrant bouquet of hot pink and orange flowers, custom curated by What Really Matters. Ninety of the couple’s dearest friends and family members looked on as Mr. & Mrs. Smith were pronounced husband and wife in a lovely unplugged outdoor ceremony. If you are not familiar with the term “unplugged,” it simply means that guests are requested to turn all electronic devices off AND put them away so that all guests are fully present at the ceremony and not taking pictures and videos. Every wedding has professionals to take photos and video, so unplugged is a preference for many of today’s brides and grooms.

DJ Les Kopasz, Soundwave Owner, began the reception by introducing the bridal party to “We Didn’t Start the Fire” by Billy Joel, followed by the couple’s first dance to “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Brightly colored floral arrangements adorned each table, and LED Wall Uplighting, supplied by Soundwave, in soft pink created a lavish tropical vibe in the reception ballroom.

Soundwave also supplied a Photo Booth for the guests enjoyment.  The photo booth is always a huge hit with guests both younger and older.

The Orlando bride and groom requested a high-energy mix of songs and wanted to party hard the last hour! DJ Les kept the dance floor full until the night drew to a close as “I’ve Had The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing rang out over the speakers, signaling the end of this lovely summertime soirée.

Ryan and Jennifer’s Bella Collina wedding felt like a step back in time to old-world Tuscany. Tucked away in the rolling hills of Lake County, Florida, just 20 minutes west of Downtown Orlando, Bella Collina is one of Central Florida’s premier wedding venues.  This luxury country club boasts magnificent views, Tuscan architecture, and five-star service.

The Orlando couple took advantage of the beautiful spring weather by hosting an outdoor ceremony and reception. Jennifer looked like royalty as she was escorted down the aisle to a beautiful medley of  “Concerning Hobbits” (Piano Version) & “Morunas” (Lord of the Ring: The Fellowship of the Rings). The couple exchanged sentimental handwritten vows in front of 80 of their closest friends and family members, before being announced husband and wife as “The Adventure” by Angels and Airwaves rang out over the speakers.

The reception was held on the grand lawn. Surrounded on all sides by rolling hills, Bella Collina is pure magic. Soundwave Owner DJ Les Kopasz introduced the guests of honor and newlyweds to “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Marvin Gaye & Tammi Tarrell.  The new Mr. & Mrs. shared a sweet first dance to “Leave This World” by Ray Scott. Guests enjoyed a classy evening which included a delicious buffet dinner, parent dances, cake cutting, and of course – dancing! As the sun sunk over the rolling hills of beautiful Montverde, guests packed the dance floor and danced all night to Brazilian music, throwback classics, country songs, and modern-day hits.

Twinkling stars dotted the night sky as “I Don’t Want to Miss a Thing” by Aerosmith serenaded guests for one last dance. After everyone headed to the exit for a sparkler sendoff, the newlyweds enjoyed one final private dance to “Somebody to Love” by Queen. Everyone cheered & raised their sparklers as Ryan & Jennifer bid their final farewell to guests, a picture-perfect ending to this stunning springtime Bella Collina wedding.

Like many couples who tied the knot in 2020, Katie & Ryan eagerly awaited the day they could celebrate their nuptials with friends and family. They held a formal reception on March 21, 2021, at the stunning Highland Manor in Apopka, Florida. This grand estate is one of Central Florida’s premier wedding event venues. The manor boasts exquisite views, massive oak trees, and simply oozes southern charm.

The couple exchanged a sweet renewal of vows on the lawn in front of 80 of their closest friends and family members. Following the ceremony, guests gathered for cocktail hour in the lounge of the palatial Highland Manor.

The reception room was uplit by Soundwave Entertainment in light blue, highlighting the stunning chandeliers that adorn the space. DJ Justin Coulter of Soundwave Entertainment introduced the guests of honor to “Good Vibrations” by Marky Mark, followed by the couple’s first dance to “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman soundtrack.

The Orlando bride and groom wanted to ensure that their eagerly anticipated reception was “one heck of a party,” and that’s exactly what DJ Justin made happen! The Interlachen Country Club, located in Winter Park, Florida, is one of Central Florida’s premier wedding venues. Stunning facilities, unparalleled lake and golf course views, and exceptional cuisine make it an exceptional wedding experience for many Orlando couples.

The evening began with guests sipping cocktails & mingling in the lounge and patio. The reception space was stunningly decorated with classic white linens, dark wood chivari chairs and white hydrangea floral arrangements. We provided LED Wall uplights in a candle light color, bringing an added layer of warmth and elegance to the space. Guests celebrated the newlyweds with toasts, parent dances, a delicious plated dinner.  The Soundwave Photo Booth added to the festivities. What this couple was focused on though, was ramping up the party on the dance floor!

As the clock struck 9 pm DJ Ray kicked the party into high gear with glowsticks as “Rhythm is a Dancer” by Breathe Carolina and Dropgun & “Be My Lover ” by Sam Feldt and Alex Schulz set the mood. A mixture of participation dances, classic rock, throwbacks from the 80s-2000s and modern day hits like “Better Now” by Post Malone kept the party going and the dance floor packed.
