Alexis & Michael’s springtime Dubsdread wedding was a joyful and vibrant celebration! Held at the historic Dubsdread Golf Course & Ballroom, the event was a spectacular combination of modern amenities and old world charm. Located just outside of downtown Orlando, hundred year old oak trees and pristine golf course views create a stunning backdrop for weddings and events. The Historic Dubsdread Ballroom is oozing with old Florida charm and sophistication.

First, the couple exchanged vows in a traditional Jewish ceremony. Held under a towering oak tree in the Dubsdread Courtyard, the ceremony began as “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Elvis Presley played. A beautiful natural wood archway with overflowing floral drapery by Pixies and Petals created an inviting springtime vibe.

Meanwhile, inside the ballroom the scene was being set for a magnificent reception. Crisp white linens and stunning arrangements of sunflowers and brightly colored roses adorned the tables. We provided LED Wall Uplighting in light blue which warmed up the classic wood detailing of the historic ballroom.

The wedding party was introduced by Soundwave owner DJ Les Kopasz to “Accidentally in Love” by the Counting Crows. Newlyweds Mr. & Mrs. Warriner then shared their first dance to “Blessings” by Florida Georgia Line. The couple wanted to ensure that their guests all hit the dance floor and had a night of fun. DJ Les played a mix of high energy pop, mixed with a bit of country, a few slow dances, some throwback hits and a couple of group dances to get everyone out of their seats! The night was rounded out with a delicious buffet dinner provided by Dubsdread Catering, as well as toasts and traditional father/daughter & mother/son dances. The night wound down to a close as “Hey Ho” by the Lumineers played, closing the night on this springtime Dubsdread Wedding.

Mariah and Truitt’s Bella Collina wedding felt like a step back in time to old world Tuscany. This stunning venue is located in beautiful Montverde, Florida, and makes guests feel as though they’ve been swept away on vacation to the picturesque Italian countryside. Bella Collina boasts rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and impressive Tuscan inspired architecture. It’s no wonder this venue is at the top of many couple’s lists.

Mariah and Truitt exchanged vows on the Grand Lawn, overlooking breathtaking waterfront views. Our guitarist Pete Lapre serenaded guests to a beautiful selection of “Cannon in D” for the processional and “Here Comes the Bride.” There’s always an extra special touch when live music is played during an event. Pete continued to entertain guests during cocktail hour with a collection of Disney songs, specially requested by the bride and groom.

Florida’s mild winters and minimal rain make it an excellent time of year to host an outdoor wedding. This couple took advantage of the opportunity to host an exquisite reception under the stars.  The Grand Lawn was reset with reception tables, a dance floor and breathtaking floral arrangements, all set under a magnificent chandelier and twinkling lights. DJ Ray Vales got the party started by introducing Mr. & Mrs. Renaud to “Jump” by Van Halen, followed by the newlywed’s sweet first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Haley Reinhart.

Guests enjoyed a delicious plated dinner catered by Bella Collina as DJ Ray played a custom curated mix of songs selected by the bride and groom. With music by Christina Perri and Taylor Swift, and Tom Petty to Fleetwood Mac – this couple thoughtfully selected a mix of classics and modern day hits. After dinner, guests flooded the dance floor and spent the evening dancing under the stars to a mix of classic rock, throwback 80s-90s, motown, country and top 40 selections. As the night wound down, Mariah and Truitt shared a final dance with their friends and family to “I Do” by Jessie James Decker. Guests sent the newlyweds off with a beautiful sparkler sendoff to cap off this stunning Bella Collina wedding under the stars.

Evan & Rachel’s Interlachen Country Club wedding was absolutely dreamy. The esteemed Interlachen Country Club has been dubbed “the sanctuary in the city.” Nestled in the heart of beautiful Winter Park, Florida, the country club boasts stunning lake and golf course views with top notch catering services.

The Orlando couple exchanged vows on the patio area, with beautiful lakeside and golf course views. The ceremony was adorned with lavish floral by Fairbanks Florist. Rachel was exquisite in her lace sweetheart style gown and we loved Evan’s choice of a white tuxedo jacket. Rachel’s very proud mom walked her down the aisle to “Slipping Through My Fingers” by Mark Pentleton.  The newlyweds exited as husband and wife to “Your Song” by the United Guitar Players.

The eloquent ballroom had an ethereal feel, with twinkle lights and ivy runners suspended from the ceiling. Towering floral arrangements adorned each table along with smaller floral arrangements in tea cups. Soundwave provided LED wall uplighting in soft pink, as well as pinspotting for the cake, newlywed table, and centerpieces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

DJ Justin of Soundwave started the night by introducing Mr. & Mrs. Ward to “Pop” by White Knight Instrumental. This sweet couple was all smiles as they took center stage and shared their first dance to “Luckiest” by Ben Folds. Guests enjoyed a filet and lobster dinner, cake, and most importantly – dancing! DJ Justin Coulter kept the dance floor full with a mix of songs from “Wonderful Tonight” by Eric Clapton, sing alongs to the Wobble. The night ended with “Till The World Ends” by Britney Spears, and guests bid farewell to the newlyweds with a picture perfect confetti sendoff.

Cypress Grove is a stunning 1925 lakeside estate, nestled right in the heart of downtown Orlando. This romantic venue sits on 80 acres and features idyllic photo opportunities with aged cypress and oak trees, abundant seasonal flowers and meticulously manicured lawns. The Orlando venue is managed by RW Events with catering offered exclusively by Big City Catering, one of Orlando’s finest caterers.

Stunning floral arrangements by Fairbanks Florist lined the aisle and archway, creating a picture perfect backdrop.

The Florida spring weather was ideal for the outdoor reception that followed. Held at the amphitheatre outside the Cypress Grove House, guests gathered under café lights to celebrate the newlyweds. The couple set the stage for a night of fun by choosing ‘Bring Em Out’ by TI for introductions, which was sweetly contrasted by their first dance to ‘The Best’ by Tina Turner. The newlyweds told DJ Colt they wanted a high energy mix of music, and he delivered! The dance floor was filled all night long, and guests danced to a mix of pop, throw backs, country, oldies, current hits and slow dances.

Ending the night, Mr. and Mrs. Hiller shared their last dance with guests to ‘This Will Be An Everlasting Love’ by Natalie Cole with guests, and a private last dance to ‘Thinking Out Loud’ by Ed Sheeran. They set sail into the night and bid farewell to guests in a perfectly fitting ending to this Cypress Grove wedding.

The evening began with an outdoor ceremony, as the couple exchanged vows beneath a breathtaking Oak Tree. This Oak Tree is quite famous as it probably is well over 200 years old and is the the perfect backdrop for Orlando couples. The newlyweds opted for live violin music for the ceremony.
