Soundwave Entertainment® specializes in weddings throughout Orlando and Central Florida.  We provide DJ services for ceremonies and receptions, and extensive LED lighting.  Soundwave is a familiar face at some of Orlando’s most popular wedding venues including Lake Mary Events Center, Omni Resort, Rosen Shingle Creek, Gaylord Palms, Paradise Cove, Mission Inn, Grand Bohemian, Leu Gardens, to name a few. Whether you are hosting a 400 person reception or an intimate Orlando destination wedding with guests from abroad, we are eager to work with you to plan your customized celebration!
Our intimate DJ team provides entertainment for about 225 Orlando weddings yearly. Soundwave Entertainment believes each Orlando wedding is unique and should reflect the personalities of the Bride and Groom – not the DJ. That’s why Soundwave DJs do not adhere to “cookie cutter” formats. “Celebration” will not be the first party song, unless you want it to be. “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” will not be played for the bouquet toss unless you say so!

Soundwave provides dance floor lighting with LED technology that is included in every wedding contract.  Dance floor lighting is a necessity for setting the mood for dancing and fun.

For brides with “platinum” tastes seeking the WOW factor, Soundwave offers the newest technology in LED Wall Uplighting, Name/Monogram in Lights, and Cake Pinspotting. Our new LED wall uplights are unlike anything offered by our competitors. They are small cubes that are wireless and battery operated.  So there are no wires that need taping.  They literally color wash the walls in any color.  A mini remote control allows us to change colors instantly. Soundwave 2-Person Wedding Team
Soundwave Entertainment’s exceptional reputation stems from our 2-Person Team … a service no other Orlando wedding DJ offers! Soundwave provides this service at the same cost leading wedding Orlando DJ companies charge for just one DJ. (Smaller celebrations only require a Senior DJ.)
The 2-Person Team includes a Senior Wedding DJ and DJ Assistant. The DJ concentrates on the music and emceeing. The DJ Assistant attends the wedding reception for a limiited time to assist the DJ, help organize introductions, prep individuals speaking on the mic, hand delivers the 2nd mic for toasts and prayer ensuring a professional entertainment presentation!

Soundwave Entertainment Owner DJ Les Kopasz is available first come, first serve. In addition, we have highly qualified wedding DJs including our Partner DJ Phil Joeckel, Disney jock with Master Talent Status; DJ Paul Viola; and Ray Vales, our LATIN bilingual specialists (See Staff for details). Our DJs have at least 8 years wedding experience and are certified by the Florida Academy of Mobile Entertainment. Also, each Soundwave DJ only works 1 wedding per day to ensure they are fresh and focused on your celebration!

For your ceremony, your Soundwave DJ will provide all the music beginning with the prelude through recessional, and a mic for the officiant. We can provide additional mics for readers, singers and musicians. Soundwave highly recommends brides enlist the services of a professional wedding coordinator for a flawless ceremony! At the reception, Soundwave will serve as your DJ and Master of Ceremonies. When it comes to dancing, it’s our job to combine the Bride and Groom‚ song requests, along with our creativity, and guests‚ requests to ensure everyone is enjoying your Big Day.

Wedding Timeline
A Soundwave Wedding Timeline is created for every client. Each bride and groom approves their timeline which is supplied to the Orlando Wedding Planner, caterer, photographer and videographer.

Wedding Specialist
Soundwave’s Owner Wendy Kopasz manages the details of every wedding. She is available throughout the entertainment planning process and eager to answer questions. Wendy prepares each wedding timeline.
