Michelle and Rylan celebrated their vintage country wedding March 26, 2022, at the lavish Luxmore Grande Estate.  This wedding was near and dear to our hearts as Michelle was a previous Orlando wedding planner we used to work side by side with very often.  It’s always an honor when fellow industry experts choose Soundwave to be part of their wedding!

A Match Made in Heaven

Above all that we saw at the wedding, Michelle and Rylan’s love for each other stood out the most. You could feel the attraction between them the moment you entered the room! It was no surprise that they chose chic, timeless pieces for their wedding attire, decor and playlists. The vintage-inspired gown with lace detailing, the bowties with the suits, the elegant tablescapes and floral arrangements worked together to tie in the vintage country wedding theme. The cherry on top was the throwback love songs that played all night long! Peppered with, of course, country music.

“I Do”

First, the bride and groom gave the people what they wanted with a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony. The vintage country wedding was off to a great start. A harpist played as Michelle floated down the aisle toward her groom. She and her father wore matching grins from ear to ear. Their union was sealed with a kiss, and cocktail hour began. DJ Justin stepped up with a custom mix of instrumental favorites, dating all the way back to the ’60s. With such a wide variety of music, it was important to maintain the vibe. That’s why we carefully selected each piece of music with care specifically for their event. It was a seamless transition. First, we were hearing a harpist play live during the ceremony. Next, we’re sipping cocktails to instrumental versions of our favorite vintage hits by Elvis Presley, The Bee Gees and more.

Wedding Bliss

Next, we moved into the grand ballrooml where more vintage country wedding details awaited with perfect southern charm. But first, we had a touch of modern. I’m On Top of the World, by Imagine Dragons welcomed the parents and grandparents for the first part of introductions. Second, Bring Em’ Out, by TI was the backing track to our newlywed’s arrival to the party. They went right into their first dance, Keeper of the Stars. From there, it was back to back greatest hits ranging from our all-time country faves to classic love songs. The bride and groom requested songs like Love Shack, by the B-52’s, My Best Friend, by Tim McGraw, and Sweet Caroline, by Neil Diamond. DJ Justin  served us nothing but vibes up until Don’t Stop Believing, by Journey came on as the last dance.

Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow

Finally, the time has come to say goodbye. The guests gathered their things and prepared to send off the new bride and groom out on the patio. But first, Michelle and Rylan stole away for one last intimate moment. I Crossed My Heart, by George Strait was the bride and groom’s private dance. And just like that, holding each other arm in arm, their vintage country wedding ended the very same way it had began.

April showers bring May flowers, but on April 2, 2022 the showers brought a change of plans! Sandra and Nick were all set to have a gorgeous outdoor ceremony for their elegant wedding with party vibes at Mission Inn. But the rain quickly brought the ceremony indoors! Our team had no problem switching gears and we seamlessly transitioned to an indoor ceremony. Thankfully, none of the elegance was lost. And soon, guests were drinking and dancing with the bride and groom for a night to remember.

The Set Up

Ceremony location change? No problem! We set up our ceremony system, complete with a speaker and lavaliere mic for the officiant in the ballroom, among the reception tables. La Hacienda at Mission Inn is a gorgeous setting for any event, but this elegant wedding with party vibes was next level. The themes of blue and gold shone beautifully throughout. Our 18 LED wall uplights set to soft blue tied the whole look together. What a difference they made to the ambiance! The cake was highlighted with 1 pinspot. To complete everything, the bride and groom’s names were displayed on the wall in lights.

Saying “I Do”

While Sandra and Nick might have been disappointed with the rain changing their plans, they sure didn’t look it! We could tell that they were excited to be married, and that was what mattered most to them. The show must go on! As live music from a harpist floated gently through the air, the elegant wedding with party vibes was underway. Finally, the couple went from engaged to married as the officiant called for a kiss. After, their guests cheered with teary eyes.

Can We Dance Yet?

With a quick transition to reception, guests found their seats in the ballroom. It was time for this elegant wedding to turn up the party vibes! First, DJ David Regueiro put on I’ve Got A Feelin’ by the Black Eyed Peas and announced the wedding party and newlyweds. Sandra and Nick went right into their first dance to Growing Old with You by Restless Road. After the parent dances, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room. We loved sharing in these sweet, sentimental moments! Meals were served to a custom playlist of instrumental music. The couple cut their wedding cake to Sugar by Maroon 5.

Turn It Up!

After cutting their cake, the bride and groom gave a thank you speech to their guests. Next, DJ David played the anniversary dances to honor the couples who were in attendance. After all, marriage was the reason that we were all together that day! Finally, the lights turned down and we knew what that meant! A high-energy mix blew through the room with hits like Baby Got Back by Sir Mix a Lot, Electricity by Dua Lipa, Sweet Caroline by Neil Diamond, and What is Love by Haddaway. The mix was absolutely perfect for their elegant wedding with party vibes. Next, The Cupid Shuffle had everyone up on their feet. And Wobble had us heading to the bar for another drink! DJ David kept it comin’ with more from 70s rock, the 80s and 90s, early 2000’s chart-toppers, and current hits.

Say Goodbye

What a beautiful evening this elegant wedding with party vibes had been.  DJ David called for the last dance. Don’t Stop Believing by Journey played like an anthem and all of the guests joined together on the dancefloor. The guests sang and danced their hearts out! After the final song, guests gathered their belongings and got ready for the send-off. Meanwhile, the new couple shared a private moment on the dancefloor. With the entire wedding ballroom to themselves, This Is It by Scott McCreery gave them a quiet, intimate moment to take in their night together. Finally, they ran outside under a shower of sparklers and shared one final kiss at their elegant wedding with party vibes. Then, with very full hearts, they went off to start their life together.

On December 27, 2021, just a few days after Christmas, Cary and David said “I Do” at Paradise Cove, Orlando, with all of the personal touches you’d want in a Magical Winter Wedding. Complete with whimsical Disney Instrumental music and Harry Potter themes throughout, it was a night to remember.

The Outdoor Ceremony

First, a harpist welcomed the guests in with warm, inviting melodies. Next, like a scene from your favorite action movie, “The Final Countdown” by Europe interjected as the groom and his groomsmen pulled up in a speed boat. After their arrival, the harpist resumed the ceremony soundtrack for the bridesmaids, the bride, and the recessional. We loved the view at the altar with the tall trees, hanging Spanish moss, and lakeside background. Don’t forget, outdoor doesn’t have to mean bad acoustics! Thanks to our ceremony speaker system and the lavaliere microphone worn by the officiant, guests heard the vows loud and clear.

Time to Celebrate

Afterward, we moved underneath the pavilion, lit up with twinkle lights as far as the eye could see. The ambiance was truly perfect for a magical winter wedding. The sweetheart table had quotes from Harry Potter and his and hers magic wands. No doubt that Ollivander himself couldn’t have picked a more perfect setting to suit our bride and groom! They shared their first dance to “The Way You Look Tonight” by Tony Bennett. Next, our reception system of speakers and microphones allowed for flawless speeches from both the maid of honor and best man.

While we might not have actual floating candles like at Hogwarts, we did bring some magic of our own with Soundwave LED Lighting. Thoughtfully placed around the reception, each one gave off a candlelit, ethereal glow. In the background, 4 LED Lights amped up the winter vibes with blue tones on the trees. And we can’t forget the cake! But how could you, when it’s lit up with our cake spot light? Music and lighting to fit the mood, plus good food, made for a dazzling and memorable magical winter wedding. If that wasn’t magical enough, the plated meal was enjoyed during a custom Disney Instrumental Mix from our own DJ / MC Ray Vales. Afterward, the cake cutting was to “Hedwig’s Theme” by John Williams from Harry Potter. The music was just perfect to make our Potterhead bride and groom dreams come true!

Get Your Groove On

Regardless of your favorite part of weddings, when that bass starts pumping, and our dance lights start poppin, you start dancing! DJ/ MC Ray Vales delivered a mix of 60-80’s rock, country, Latin vibes with salsa and merengue, and 90’s-2000’s Pop and Hip Hop. Tons of crowd participation favorites kept us on our toes with classics like “Cupid Shuffle,” “Electric Slide,” “Cha Cha Slide,” and “Shout.” Special requests from the bride and groom included hits like “Shake Your Body” by Michael Jackson, “Right Thurr” by Chingy, “Lean Wit It, Rock Wit It” by Dem Franchise Boyz, and even “Fat Lip” by Sum 41.

Among all the dancing was another crowd favorite: our Digital Photo Booth! It captured magical moments from guests and texted the pictures instantly. What a great way to break up the evening while keeping the energy high! Also, the prop table provided extra laughs for each shot.

Send Off

DJ Ray Vales made the last call for dancing, and everyone gave it their all to “Never Gonna Give You Up” by none other than Rick Astley. What a great night! Guests gathered their belongings and headed to the exit. The new Mr. and Mrs. Valdes shared one last Harry Potter tribute moment with their wands to seal their Magical Winter wedding. The bride and groom waved goodbye to their friends and family as a symbolic cascade of bubbles and good fortune rained down. And the day ended just as it started, with a speed boat zooming off into the horizon. Congratulations, Cary and David! May all your dreams come true.

Setting the Stage for a Wedding at the Mission Inn Resort

Marissa and Adam’s September 5, 2021, wedding was held at the Marina Del Ray at Mission Inn Resort and Club. Located just outside of Orlando, the Mission Inn Resort offers three unique wedding venue options, including the stunning Marina Del Ray. Marissa and Adam held the ceremony of their fall Orlando wedding outside, with the season’s natural setting playing perfectly off of the waterfront. A gentle breeze moved with the bride as she walked down the aisle to her groom. Leaves in the trees above swayed quietly against the music. And within the magic of the natural setting, Soundwave’s DJ Dennis Michael made sure that the music and the officiant’s subtle lavaliere microphone only added to the natural setting, never distracting from the special moment.

Cocktails and Classics

After our bride and groom exchanged their vows and walked back up the aisle as husband and wife, it was time to celebrate. The evening began with guests sipping cocktails and mingling, all while enjoying a vocalist mix of songs from DJ Dennis Michael. As the cocktail hour wound down, DJ Dennis Michael ushered guests into the reception space for the much-anticipated introduction of the wedding party and the newlyweds. Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars played as Marissa and Adam were formally introduced as husband and wife. After the guests settled into their seats, the couple shared a sweet first dance to  I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz.

A Night to Remember

The reception space was beautifully decorated with cool neutrals and soft gold accents. We provided LED Wall Uplights in a soft green color, highlighting the natural outdoor ambiance. Guests celebrated the newlyweds with toasts, parent dances, and a three-tier cake from Sugar Sugar Cake Boutique – coupled with a perfectly-placed LED Pinspot supplied by Soundwave to illuminate the cake.

Sparkling Skies and Goodbyes at This Fall Orlando Wedding

The conversations and laughter carried on through the night. Soundwave DJ Dennis Micheal kicked the party into high gear with ’90s throwbacks, current pop favorites, and crowd-pleasers. Everyone was on their feet throughout the night! The bride and groom really kept the party going and the dance floor packed. Guests of all ages danced late into the night. Closing out the evening, DJ Dennis Michael played Don’t Stop Believing by Journey as requested by the newlyweds. As the last notes faded, guests gathered outside to grab some  sparklers as they cheered and bid farewell to the glowing couple!

Becca & Michael’s Omni Orlando wedding was a truly lavish and luxurious affair! The Omni Orlando Resort is located in ChampionsGate, a stunning master planned community in the heart of Central Florida just 10 minutes from Disney Springs. This exquisite resort ranks highly among even the most discerning couples – known for it’s stunning facilities, luxury accommodations and outstanding service.

In the International Ballroom, the Orlando couple exchanged vows under a magnificently designed chuppah. We provided White LED Uplighting to illuminate the chuppah as well as the bride and groom. The chuppah was draped in stunning sheer white fabric and outfitted with elaborate draping floral and ivy. Although the ceremony was held indoors, guests felt as though they had been whisked away to a lavish countryside wedding. Hundreds of colorful hydrangea and rose floral arrangements, designed by the esteemed Lee Forrest Design, filled and overflowed the ballroom. Bride Becca was an absolute vision in her sweetheart ivory gown as she walked down the aisle to “Beautiful in White” by Shane Filan.

The reception was every bit as luxurious as the ceremony. Soundwave provided extensive LED Lighting Design to help transform the ballroom into the couple’s exacting vision. Draping white curtains lined the the main focal wall.  We provided 30 LED Uplights in soft pink to gently accentuate the drape and the ballroom walls. Additionally, we projected Texture in Lights  in an ivy design on the main focal, similar to a wall paper effect in soft white, adding interest and sophistication to the reception space. LED Pinspotting on the newlywed table, centerpieces and cake drew guests attention to each of these magnificent elements. No design element was overlooked in this elaborate affair, from the towering & overflowing floral arrangements to the gold chivari chairs, and the elaborately designed cake.

Soundwave owner and DJ Les Kopasz introduced the parents and wedding party to “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore.  DJ Les then asked the 250 some guests to rise to their feet as he introduced the Orlando newlyweds.  The bride and groom were all smiles as they made their way across the room and onto the white wrapped dance floor.  As the couple stepped onto the floor, special spotlights provided by Soundwave illuminated Becca and Michael as they danced a choreographed routine to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Morten Harket.

Guests were treated to a an opulent evening complete with a delicious plated dinner, dancing, champagne toasts and a cake nearly too beautiful to eat. Guests flooded the dance floor all night as Soundwave DJ Les played a mixture of throwback songs, group dances, and modern day hits. The newlywed’s last dance song, “It Was A Good Day” by Ice Cube, closed out the evening on this luxurious Omni Orlando wedding.

Mariah and Truitt’s Bella Collina wedding felt like a step back in time to old world Tuscany. This stunning venue is located in beautiful Montverde, Florida, and makes guests feel as though they’ve been swept away on vacation to the picturesque Italian countryside. Bella Collina boasts rolling hills, sparkling lakes, and impressive Tuscan inspired architecture. It’s no wonder this venue is at the top of many couple’s lists.

Mariah and Truitt exchanged vows on the Grand Lawn, overlooking breathtaking waterfront views. Our guitarist Pete Lapre serenaded guests to a beautiful selection of “Cannon in D” for the processional and “Here Comes the Bride.” There’s always an extra special touch when live music is played during an event. Pete continued to entertain guests during cocktail hour with a collection of Disney songs, specially requested by the bride and groom.

Florida’s mild winters and minimal rain make it an excellent time of year to host an outdoor wedding. This couple took advantage of the opportunity to host an exquisite reception under the stars.  The Grand Lawn was reset with reception tables, a dance floor and breathtaking floral arrangements, all set under a magnificent chandelier and twinkling lights. DJ Ray Vales got the party started by introducing Mr. & Mrs. Renaud to “Jump” by Van Halen, followed by the newlywed’s sweet first dance to “Can’t Help Falling in Love” by Haley Reinhart.

Guests enjoyed a delicious plated dinner catered by Bella Collina as DJ Ray played a custom curated mix of songs selected by the bride and groom. With music by Christina Perri and Taylor Swift, and Tom Petty to Fleetwood Mac – this couple thoughtfully selected a mix of classics and modern day hits. After dinner, guests flooded the dance floor and spent the evening dancing under the stars to a mix of classic rock, throwback 80s-90s, motown, country and top 40 selections. As the night wound down, Mariah and Truitt shared a final dance with their friends and family to “I Do” by Jessie James Decker. Guests sent the newlyweds off with a beautiful sparkler sendoff to cap off this stunning Bella Collina wedding under the stars.

Soon the party moved to the ChampionsGate Ballroom and DJ Justin Coulter introduced the newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. Barry Snider Junior to Zombie Nation by Kernkraft 400. Guests flooded the dance floor the entire night, which was punctuated by dinner, toasting, cake, and the garter and bouquet tosses. Pop and hip hop hits from the 80s and 90s mixed with current artists like Levels & Avicii, which kept the party going well into the night. A spectucular fireworks display surprised guests at the Omni wedding of Brooke and Antony on Jan. 9, 2021. The 110 guests were led outside for cake cutting. As soon as the bride and groom cut the cake, the fireworks exploded. The awesome display, by Xtreme Special FX, lasted about 6 minutes.

The bride and groom were married in the rotunda at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. Live musicians provided the ceremony and cocktail music.

When the National Ballroom doors opened for the wedding reception, guests were greated by a dimly lit ballroom with blue LED Wall Lighting by us, Soundwave Entertainment. We also pinspotted the tall floral centerpieces to illuminate their beauty. The focal point was the sweetheart table with lavish floral and draping. We lit up the draping with a mix of blue and white lighting.

After the introductions, the Orlando newlyweds danced their first dance, followed by the parent dances and toasts. During the meal, guests enjoyed an aerialist performance, by Aerial Dragons Entertainment, another surprise the bride and groom planned for their guests.

The last hour and a half of the reception guests danced to a wide range of dance hits from the ’70s to current pop songs supplied by Soundwave Owner DJ Les Kopasz.

The soft purple wedding of Raquel and Marc took place at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate on December 27, 2020 on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The couple was joined by 100 family and friends.

The bride and groom hired DJ Ray Vales of Soundwave to provide a mix of Latin and American music. DJ Ray provided announcements in English and Spanish.

Soundwave provided 24 LED Wall Uplights in a soft purple to accentuate the white and varying shades of purple floral. Atmosphere’s Floral and Decor designed the centerpieces and supplied the glass vases. We Pinspotted the tall centerpieces, wedding cake, and newlywed table. Pinspotting various decor elements really makes them pop.

The Grand Salon Terrace hosted the outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour. Dinner and dancing took place in the ballroom. We love the ballroom’s crystal floral chandelier that centers the dance floor.

The Omni, just 10 minutes from Walt Disney World, is surrounded by 36 holes of championship golf and 15 acres of recreation. The resort offers a signature full-service spa, sparkling pools and a lazy river, making it the perfect getaway hotel for adults and children.

AS WRITTEN IN PEOPLE MAGAZINE

Party of Five star Brandon Larracuente has tied the knot!

The actor wed his longtime girlfriend, Jazmin Garcia, in an “intimate and magical” ceremony on Dec. 8, PEOPLE exclusively confirms.

The couple, who got engaged in November 2019 after nearly four years of dating, said “I do” at Paradise Cove in Orlando, Florida.

“We are on cloud nine,” Larracuente, who also starred on 13 Reasons Why and Bloodline, tells PEOPLE of being a newlywed.

“It feels like a dream,” adds his bride. “Someone’s gonna pinch us and we’re gonna wake up.”

Though they had to adjust their ceremony due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic — Larracuente and Garcia, both 26, say they feel lucky to have gotten married among their “closest family and friends.”

Garcia says that planning a wedding during a pandemic was “very stressful and anxiety-ridden,” but as she walked down the aisle to Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect,” those worries melted away.

“When I saw him, I couldn’t hear the music anymore. All I saw was him. It was the craziest tunnel vision and I haven’t experienced that since I met him when we were 17,” she recalls. “I realized that this was the beginning of forever and that moment will always be special to me.”

Larracuente was similarly overwhelmed by emotion — despite his best intentions to “hold in” his tears.

“The minute I looked up when I saw her down the aisle, I just burst out in tears,” he admits. “It was a lot of emotions at once and it was a moment I’ll never forget.”

He adds: “2020 has been a tough year for us and for everybody else. I think this is what we needed — to reset and just let loose for one night.”

Their intimate wedding lived up to the couple’s expectations of being a “dreamland,” complete with twinkling lights and a chandelier.

The space also included a ceiling made of 1,200 fresh flowers that “took everybody’s breath away,” Garcia says. They even found a way to do some good with their decor, donating the flowers to a local hospital following the reception.

Larracuente and Garcia first met at a Halloween party when they were just 17 — Larracuente dressed as a Chippendale and Garcia as a Playboy Bunny. Though they didn’t begin dating right away, they became friends and made the relationship official about four years later.

“We’ve definitely gone through the ups and downs together, and I think that’s why we are here,” Larracuente says.
