Shannon + Scott
It was a gold and blue night at the Highland Manor for this fun energy glowstick wedding! We were happy to be able to provide this wedding with some equally great entertainment with DJ and Owner Dj Les Kopasz.
Ceremony
As the officiant geared up with our lavaliere mic it was time to begin. The instrumental version of Can’t Help Falling in Love by Brian Catuccio filled the air for this outside wedding. Guests stood as I Get to Love You instrumental played and the bride and her father walked down the aisle to her awaiting groom. Confessing their love in front of family and friends, the couple was pronounced husband and wife. Jackie Wilson’s Higher and Higher song played as the newlyweds kissed for the first time!
Cocktail Hour & Introductions
During cocktail hour guests enjoyed the soundtrack to Guardians of the Galaxy Vocalist Mix through our cocktail speaker. DJ Les used our wired mic to make announcements such as our photo booth being ready for fun poses and silly faces! Guests took their seats in the reception room which featured our Optimus All White Luxury Set up and upgraded White Dance Party Lights. Shortly after, the wedding party finished taking photos they entered the reception room to DJ’s choice. You Are the Best Thing played and welcomed the newlyweds into the reception room. They entered the room and finished the song for their first dance.
Welcoming & Wedding Traditions
After the father of the bride welcomed all the guests, they enjoyed toasts and blessings before their meal. The guests enjoyed their meal to a 1960s – 2000s Pop Instrumental Mix. The wedding cake was perfectly lit with our pin spotlight. The newlyweds cut the well-lit cake to DJ Kopasz’s song choice. Followed by Soundwave’s shortened version of Butterfly Kisses as the father and his daughter took the dance floor. After the groom and his mother finished their dance to Forever Young, by Iron and Wine, DJ Les opened the room up to requests.
Glowstick Party
The crowd turned up the vibe after the wedding traditions and it turned into a proper dance party with bright and colorful light sticks! There was not a dull moment, the groom’s neighborhood friends even did a wedding tradition between the group that included the song Disco Pogo. Crocodile Rock was the song that ended their night with guests. The newlyweds then enjoyed a last private dance to September by Earth Wind Fire. Congratulations Shannon and Scott thank you for letting us be an important part of your big day, we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
