Samantha and Brendan’s Bella Collina summertime soirée was stunning and vibrant. The celebration was held at the idyllic Bella Collina, one of Central Florida’s premier wedding venues, June 4, 2021. Bella Collina feels like a destination wedding venue but is conveniently located in Montverde, Florida – just 20 minutes west of Downtown Orlando. Exquisite Mediterranean architecture, vast rolling hills, and five-star service rank it as one of Orlando’s most sought after wedding venue locations.
Samantha was absolutely breathtaking as she walked down the aisle to “Bridal Chorus” by Sally Fletcher, clutching a vibrant bouquet of hot pink and orange flowers, custom curated by What Really Matters. Ninety of the couple’s dearest friends and family members looked on as Mr. & Mrs. Smith were pronounced husband and wife in a lovely unplugged outdoor ceremony. If you are not familiar with the term “unplugged,” it simply means that guests are requested to turn all electronic devices off AND put them away so that all guests are fully present at the ceremony and not taking pictures and videos. Every wedding has professionals to take photos and video, so unplugged is a preference for many of today’s brides and grooms.
DJ Les Kopasz, Soundwave Owner, began the reception by introducing the bridal party to “We Didn’t Start the Fire” by Billy Joel, followed by the couple’s first dance to “Shallow” by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. Brightly colored floral arrangements adorned each table, and LED Wall Uplighting, supplied by Soundwave, in soft pink created a lavish tropical vibe in the reception ballroom.
Soundwave also supplied a Photo Booth for the guests enjoyment. The photo booth is always a huge hit with guests both younger and older.
The Orlando bride and groom requested a high-energy mix of songs and wanted to party hard the last hour! DJ Les kept the dance floor full until the night drew to a close as “I’ve Had The Time of My Life” from Dirty Dancing rang out over the speakers, signaling the end of this lovely summertime soirée.
