On a perfect Orlando winter evening, the new Mr. and Mrs. danced on a cloud for their very first dance as husband and wife. The tropical inspired wedding took place at Paradise Cove. Tucked away in a private corner of Lake Buena Vista, Paradise Cove is an idyllic oasis on the shores of Lake Bryan. Twinkling lights and tiki torches add to the magical glow of this secluded Orlando wedding venue. Soundwave Entertainment is a Preferred Vendor at the venue and part of the all-inclusive packages.
Ceremony Under The Cypress Trees
As the sun set, guests gathered to their seats to prepare for the wedding ceremony. The officiant and parents began the processional, but then to the guests’ surprise, the Groom and Groomsmen arrived by boat! The captain spun the boat in a circle right before guests. As DJ Les Kopasz of Soundwave Entertainment played “Running Down a Dream” by Tom Petty, the boys jumped off the boat and onto the sand. Quickly, they assembled at the alter as the groom anxiously awaited his bride. Guests turned their attention to the back of the chairs as the bridesmaids made their way to the alter.
Next, the entrance of the bride! The very proud mother of the bride escorted her daughter down the aisle to her ever so charming groom. Soundwave DJ Les ensured not only the requested songs were played at precisely the right time, but he provided a lavaliere microphone for the officiant so the ceremony was easily heard by guests.
Tropical Style Reception
The reception space was decorated with white swagging from the wood beams cascading between the chandeliers. Soundwave accencuated the swagging and the trees around the tiki bar with LED Uplighting in an ocean blue color. As the guests located their seats, the Paradise Cove coordinator and DJ Les prepped the parents, wedding party and newlyweds for introductions, our favorite part of the night! DJ Les hyped the guests and had them standing as “Classic,” by MKTO played. Guests cheered and clapped as the newlyweds were all smiles as they made their way to the center of the dance floor. As their 1st dance song began, guests were surprised to see a dreamy cloud float over the dance floor as the bride and groom swayed and kissed. What a magical moment for Jamie and Kyle!
Party Time On The Dance Floor
The newlyweds loved to dance! Their enthusiam on the dance floor ignited all their guests to join them. As DJ Les mixed a variety of songs from throwbacks to current, guests also enjoyed the Soundwave Photo Booth. The Digital Photo Booth is quick because it allows guests to receive images via text. Long gone are the days when we printed photo strips! Digital is fun and easy and guests post images to their social media with ease. As the night wound down, the couple danced with their guests before they headed to the boat dock for the formal exit. Once all the guests had vacated the reception, DJ Les instructed all the staff to also leave the pavilion as the couple enjoyed a private last dance, just them, all alone on the dance floor.
