Rachel and Justin celebrated their ceremony and reception at the spectacular Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The celebration was full of intricate details, surprises here and there for the bride and groom planned by the bride’s parents, and TONS of design details. Their goal from the beginning was to WOW their guests…and boy did they ever! They hired Blush By Brandee Gaar, Jess Clark, to help them plan and coordinate their big day. Everything was going smoothly throughout the more than 1.5 years of planning until 4 months prior to the wedding when they found out their original Downtown Orlando venue location was closing! Blush By Brandee Gaar quickly got to work scouting out new locations. The bride selected the Dr Phillips Center for the Performing Arts within 1 week and quickly all the design and logistics that were originally planned had to be altered and changed to accommodate the new venue! If you are unfamiliar with the Arts Center, it offers a spectacular outdoor rooftop location for ceremonies. The DeVos ballroom is truly the highlight of the Arts Center with its HUGE window that overlooks the front of the Arts Center that OPENS!!! There is nothing quite like this 20ft wide by 20ft high window that electronically opens and gives a wow factor unlike anything else in Orlando! Soundwave Owner Les Kopasz was their DJ/MC. Soundwave worked closely with the bride and groom and parents on the flow of the evening and music vibe. One of the big surprises of the night was the appearance of Knightro, UCF Mascot! Additionally, the bride and groom did the Newlywed Shoe Game that was a big hit with guests. Soundwave provided the LED Lighting Design and boy was it breathtaking! From Wall Uplights, to Pinspotting all the floral, to Texturing the big wall with abstract dots, it was nothing short of being over the top! Congrats Rachel and Justin and THANK YOU for trusting Soundwave with your big day! It was our honor!!!
