Becca & Michael’s Omni Orlando wedding was a truly lavish and luxurious affair! The Omni Orlando Resort is located in ChampionsGate, a stunning master planned community in the heart of Central Florida just 10 minutes from Disney Springs. This exquisite resort ranks highly among even the most discerning couples – known for it’s stunning facilities, luxury accommodations and outstanding service.
In the International Ballroom, the Orlando couple exchanged vows under a magnificently designed chuppah. We provided White LED Uplighting to illuminate the chuppah as well as the bride and groom. The chuppah was draped in stunning sheer white fabric and outfitted with elaborate draping floral and ivy. Although the ceremony was held indoors, guests felt as though they had been whisked away to a lavish countryside wedding. Hundreds of colorful hydrangea and rose floral arrangements, designed by the esteemed Lee Forrest Design, filled and overflowed the ballroom. Bride Becca was an absolute vision in her sweetheart ivory gown as she walked down the aisle to “Beautiful in White” by Shane Filan.
The reception was every bit as luxurious as the ceremony. Soundwave provided extensive LED Lighting Design to help transform the ballroom into the couple’s exacting vision. Draping white curtains lined the the main focal wall. We provided 30 LED Uplights in soft pink to gently accentuate the drape and the ballroom walls. Additionally, we projected Texture in Lights in an ivy design on the main focal, similar to a wall paper effect in soft white, adding interest and sophistication to the reception space. LED Pinspotting on the newlywed table, centerpieces and cake drew guests attention to each of these magnificent elements. No design element was overlooked in this elaborate affair, from the towering & overflowing floral arrangements to the gold chivari chairs, and the elaborately designed cake.
Soundwave owner and DJ Les Kopasz introduced the parents and wedding party to “Can’t Hold Us” by Macklemore. DJ Les then asked the 250 some guests to rise to their feet as he introduced the Orlando newlyweds. The bride and groom were all smiles as they made their way across the room and onto the white wrapped dance floor. As the couple stepped onto the floor, special spotlights provided by Soundwave illuminated Becca and Michael as they danced a choreographed routine to “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Morten Harket.
Guests were treated to a an opulent evening complete with a delicious plated dinner, dancing, champagne toasts and a cake nearly too beautiful to eat. Guests flooded the dance floor all night as Soundwave DJ Les played a mixture of throwback songs, group dances, and modern day hits. The newlywed’s last dance song, “It Was A Good Day” by Ice Cube, closed out the evening on this luxurious Omni Orlando wedding.
