The Orlando wedding of Dariya and Andara was celebrated at Sterling Event Venue and was loaded with surprises for their guests.
Tucked away on 23 acres of pristine beauty, Sterling Event Venue is nestled among the rolling hills and lakes of Minneola, FL. Located on the West side of Orlando with Lake Apopka in the background, the Tuscan-style wedding venue provides a private oasis of rustic elegance. You will feel transported to a villa in Central Italy, surrounded by beautiful stonework, and Italian Cypress trees.
The December ceremony took place as the sun was gently setting. The bride was escorted by her dad down the long, winding walkway as live musicians played. Soundwave Entertainment provided the officiant with a discreet lavaliere microphone clipped on his clothing enabling guests to easily hear the vows.
The 125 guests were welcoming into a stunning ballroom for the reception and festivities. Soundwave lit the room in very soft pink LED Wall Uplighting. We also illuminated the wedding cake and newlywed sweetheart table. Our luxury white sound system blended perfectly with the white walls and dark woodwork.
For the introductions, the newlweds cascaded down the grand staircase as guests cheered to a disco classic song, Le Freak, by Chic. The 1st surprise planned by the Orlando newlyweds was a choreographed mashup that had their guests cheering.
The next surprise was a performance by the bride’s aunt playing the Dombra, a long necked musical string instrument from Kazakhstan.
As the meal ended, Samba Dancers and live drummers amp’d up the celebration. Soundwave’s DMX technician provided a spotlight pointed to the rear of the ballroom to illuminate their grand entrance. After a few songs, the bride and groom and all the guests joined the dancers on the floor and the dance party began.
Soundwave DJ Les kicked off the dancing with some 80-90s throwbacks, a little bit of funk and disco, and then kicked it the final hour with heavy mixing of house and electronic music.
The final surprise of the evening was the formal exit outside. Guests lined the walkway and as the doors open to reveal the bride and groom, Soundwave hit the Spark Fountains as guests cheered and waved them good bye.
