Jeannine and Calvin’s intimate Mission Inn wedding was pure joy! The couple celebrated their love for one another, surrounded by 35 of their closest friends and family members. The Mission Inn Resort & Club is nestled among the beautiful rolling hills of Howey-in-the-Hills in Lake County, Florida, a quick 30 minutes from Downtown Orlando. Whether it’s the stunning lakeside views, lush green golf course or towering palm trees, this venue truly showcases the best of what Central Florida has to offer.
The couple’s February wedding began with their ceremony on the lawn. Jeannine was simply stunning as she walked down the aisle to ‘Marry Me’ by Train, performed live by Soundwave’s guitarist Pete Lapre. Following the ceremony was cocktail hour, where Pete played a beautiful variety of the couple’s favorite songs – from ‘All Of Me’ and ‘Here Comes the Sun’ to ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ and ‘Time of Your Life.’
In the reception space we uplit the walls in a beautiful deep purple, and provided pinspotting on the cake, and newlywed table. The tables were dressed with a sophisticated combination of black and gold accents. Soundwave’s owner and DJ Les Kopasz introduced Mr. & Mrs. Simmons to the upbeat ‘I Got a Feeling’ by the Black Eyed Peas. Guests had a marvelous time which consisted of a delicious buffet dinner, dancing, cake cutting, and toasts. Perhaps the sweetest moment of the evening was the father daughter dance, and the absolute joy on Jeannine’s father’s face. At last, guests made their exit and a brilliant sparkler sendoff to conclude this delightful intimate Mission Inn wedding.
