A timeless celebration, elegant lighting, and an unforgettable dance floor!
Nikki and Carter celebrated their beautiful January wedding at The Palm Mansion in Umatilla, Florida, surrounded by 120 family members and friends. With romantic details, live ceremony musicians, and a reception filled with classic hits and dance floor favorites, their wedding was a perfect blend of timeless elegance and high-energy fun.
Soundwave Entertainment Orlando provided professional DJ and MC services by DJ David Regueiro, along with Synchronized Lighting.
A Romantic Ceremony and Elegant Reception
The newlyweds exchanged vows during an outdoor ceremony on The Palm Mansion’s picturesque paver courtyard, accompanied by live musicians. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour before moving into the Conservatory for dinner and dancing.
Soundwave transformed the reception space with 18 professional LED Wall Uplights, creating a romantic, warm candlelit glow. Specialty pinspot lighting highlighted the wedding cake, while Soundwave’s elegant white DJ console complemented the sophisticated setting.
The newlyweds made their grand entrance to Stevie Wonder’s Signed, Sealed, Delivered, followed by their romantic first dance to an instrumental version of Bewitched by Laufey.
From Timeless Classics to a Packed Dance Floor
Music was especially important to Nikki and Carter, who envisioned a celebration featuring Motown, disco, funk, and favorite hits spanning generations.
Soundwave DJ David Regueiro curated the musical experience around their vision, incorporating classics from ABBA, Earth, Wind & Fire, Whitney Houston, and Michael Jackson, along with creative mixes and crowd favorites.
As the evening transitioned into dancing, Soundwave’s Synchronized Lighting shifted from elegant candlelit ambiance into an energetic dance party experience. Using computerized lighting technology, Soundwave’s LED lights synchronized with the beat and energy of the music, adding another dimension to the celebration.
The evening concluded with a private last dance for the newlyweds to Elvis Presley’s This Is Our Dance, followed by a beautiful sparkler farewell.
