Like many couples who tied the knot in 2020, Katie & Ryan eagerly awaited the day they could celebrate their nuptials with friends and family. They held a formal reception on March 21, 2021, at the stunning Highland Manor in Apopka, Florida. This grand estate is one of Central Florida’s premier wedding event venues. The manor boasts exquisite views, massive oak trees, and simply oozes southern charm.
The couple exchanged a sweet renewal of vows on the lawn in front of 80 of their closest friends and family members. Katie donned a gorgeous sweeping lace gown and was escorted down the aisle to “Satellite” by BT. Following the ceremony, guests gathered for cocktail hour in the lounge of the palatial Highland Manor.
The reception room was uplit by Soundwave Entertainment in light blue, highlighting the stunning chandeliers that adorn the space. DJ Justin Coulter of Soundwave Entertainment introduced the guests of honor to “Good Vibrations” by Marky Mark, followed by the couple’s first dance to “A Million Dreams” from The Greatest Showman soundtrack.
The Orlando bride and groom wanted to ensure that their eagerly anticipated reception was “one heck of a party,” and that’s exactly what DJ Justin made happen! Guests hit the dance floor and only retreated briefly for dinner and cake cutting. A high-energy mix of 60s-80s rock, swing, Motown, disco, funk, country, and lots of current hits ensured there was something for everyone! The Mr. & Mrs. ended the night with one last dance to “Forever” by Chris Brown, closing the night on this lively Highland Manor reception.
