Holly + Ruben
A wonderful night celebrating A Military Paradise Cove Wedding for the sweet newlywed’s Holly and Ruben! From the ceremony to the reception, no sound went unheard thanks to DJ and Owner Les Kopasz with Soundwave Entertainment. We can’t wait to share details from this night caught by Castaldo Studio.
The groom Ruben arrived in his military dress blues and made a grand entrance by rolling up to the ceremony on a boat. As the Top Gun theme played, the boat beached beside the ceremony. The guys exited the boat and met up with the bridesmaids. While the Parents of both the bride and groom made their way to their seats and officiant to the alter, the song On This Day filled the speakers of our Ceremony System. As the song When I Say I Do came on, not only did the wedding party make their way down the aisle, but also the breathtaking bride. After Holly made her way to the alter escorted by her parents, the guests had a minute to take photos of the newlyweds.
After everyone made it to the altar and guests took a seat, it was time for the officiant to start the unity ceremony using our lavaliere mic. In front of their family and friends, the couple recited their vows and said, “I do” making them husband and wife. At last, the newlyweds kissed, and I Do, by Colbie Caillat, played queuing the recessional. The wedding guests went on to enjoy a 2000s Pop Instrumentals Mix for cocktail hour while the newlyweds went to take wedding portraits. After the cocktail hour, the guests made their way to the reception room where we would have our reception system and 2 mics ready for all announcements and introductions.
I’m Good played as the introductions of the wedding party and the bride and groom were announced. The song Growing Old with You played as the bride and groom enjoyed their first dance and our spark fountains were an extra special touch. Then, the wedding guests returned inside to enjoy toasts, blessings, and a meal to honor the newlywed’s big day. As everyone enjoyed their meal a Guardians of the Galaxy mix played in the background. Butterfly Kisses for the father-daughter dance, and Mother, by Michael Buble for the groom and his mother’s turn. After those sweet moments, it was time for some fun! DJ Les opened the request list while he was playing his choice of songs for the garter and bouquet toss.
Time To Turn It Up a Notch
Finally, it was time to open the dance floor which was illuminated with our fun dance lights. Songs like the Cha Cha Slide, Macarena, Chicken Dance, Cupid Shuffle, and Electric Slide were an absolute MUST for these off-the-hook dancing machines! Top requested songs were those like; Can’t Help Falling In Love With You, Cotton Eyed Joe, Dancing Queen, Fergalicious, and more. A whole lot of fun was had by all generations! To wrap up the high-energy dancing, YMCA came on for the grand finale group dance.
Spark Fountain Farewell
Home played to slow it back down for the bride and groom during their private dance of the night. As the newlyweds exited, our spark fountains gave them a sparkling farewell. We had a blast hanging out with these sweet newlyweds and their fun wedding guests! Thank you for entrusting us with all of your entertainment and special effects. We’re honored to have been a part of your special day!
