Alexis & Michael’s springtime Dubsdread wedding was a joyful and vibrant celebration! Held at the historic Dubsdread Golf Course & Ballroom, the event was a spectacular combination of modern amenities and old world charm. Located just outside of downtown Orlando, hundred year old oak trees and pristine golf course views create a stunning backdrop for weddings and events. The Historic Dubsdread Ballroom is oozing with old Florida charm and sophistication.
First, the couple exchanged vows in a traditional Jewish ceremony. Held under a towering oak tree in the Dubsdread Courtyard, the ceremony began as “Crazy Little Thing Called Love” by Elvis Presley played. A beautiful natural wood archway with overflowing floral drapery by Pixies and Petals created an inviting springtime vibe.
Meanwhile, inside the ballroom the scene was being set for a magnificent reception. Crisp white linens and stunning arrangements of sunflowers and brightly colored roses adorned the tables. We provided LED Wall Uplighting in light blue which warmed up the classic wood detailing of the historic ballroom.
The wedding party was introduced by Soundwave owner DJ Les Kopasz to “Accidentally in Love” by the Counting Crows. Newlyweds Mr. & Mrs. Warriner then shared their first dance to “Blessings” by Florida Georgia Line. The couple wanted to ensure that their guests all hit the dance floor and had a night of fun. DJ Les played a mix of high energy pop, mixed with a bit of country, a few slow dances, some throwback hits and a couple of group dances to get everyone out of their seats! The night was rounded out with a delicious buffet dinner provided by Dubsdread Catering, as well as toasts and traditional father/daughter & mother/son dances. The night wound down to a close as “Hey Ho” by the Lumineers played, closing the night on this springtime Dubsdread Wedding.
