Love is Paradise, and that’s exactly how the brides Meagen and Steffanie felt on May 21, 2021. The romantic island vibe of Paradise Cove in Central Florida was the perfect backdrop. Set against acres of lush Floridian foliage, Paradise Cove offers a variety of breathtaking lakeside spaces for you to celebrate with up to 300 of your biggest fans.
Meagan and Steffanie added creative touches throughout their own ceremony, including personal vows and a violinist accompaniment to our Soundwave’s Latin Expert DJ & MC, Ray Vales. The officiant, who was a close friend to the brides, was supplied a lavaliere microphone by Soundwave to ensure that friends and family could listen to the heartfelt dedication. After the brides shared their first kiss as a married couple, they exited down the aisle to cheers from the joyful crowd and the song “We Found Love” by Rihanna.
The reception began with introductions by DJ Ray Vales, and he set the excitement for the brides’ entrances as the newly pronounced: Mrs. Meagen and Steffanie Riccardo. The newlyweds shared a touching first dance to “Better Place” by Rachel Platten. Gold chivari chairs, classic and beautiful navy accents, candles, and tropical florals added a layer of warmth and elegance to the room.
Guests hit the dance floor and enjoyed being able to make requests for their favorite current hits. The newlyweds also had a list of favorites to add to DJ Ray’s collection of fan favorites. Toasts, dinner, cake cutting, and parent dances rounded out the evening. A great surprise was the brides and their brothers sharing a dance to “Hey Brother” by Tessa Rose Jackson.
“What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong was the perfect song to end the evening as guests gathered around for one final dance. With a cool breeze sweeping through the dance floor and the reflection of the moon over the water, Paradise Cove was the perfect setting for a perfect wedding.
