Rachel and Shane’s Cypress Grove Estate House wedding, May 8, 2021, was full of elegance and southern charm. The Cypress Grove Estate House is a vintage 1925 home located in Orlando, just a few minutes South of Downtown, situated on 80 acres of lush, lakeside grounds. This highly sought-after Orlando wedding venue is known for its tree-lined streets, aged oak and cypress trees, radiant seasonal flowers, and perfectly manicured lawns.
The couple exchanged vows under a stunning brick-paved gazebo on the shores of Lake Jessamine. Rachel was a vision in her intricate lace gown as she walked down the aisle to “Invisible String” by Taylor Swift. The newlyweds took advantage of the beautiful spring weather to host an outdoor reception in the courtyard of the estate. Vibrant floral arrangements and fuchsia table linens adorned the tables, bringing a touch of spring to the space.
Soundwave DJ Dennis Michael began the reception by announcing the bridal party to “Combatchy” ft MC Rebecca, Anitta, Lexa & Luisa Sonza. Then, the newlyweds shared their first dance to “The Bones” by Maren Morris & Hozier, dancing beneath the market lights.
The evening was full of joy and laughter as guests indulged in a delicious meal catered by Big City Catering, toasts, bouquet and garter tosses, and cake. The party was in full force when guests hit the dance floor.
Many guests knew each other from UCF, so Rachel & Shane wanted a high-energy party vibe. DJ Dennis Michael kept the dance floor full with a mix of alternative songs, throwbacks, and 2000s and current day pop and urban hits, with a few participation dances sprinkled in the mix. As the evening wound down, Mr. and Mrs. Meckler shared one final dance with guests to “Don’t Stop Believing” by Journey. Everyone gathered outside the front of the house for a final farewell, as the newlyweds danced under the stars to “Meu Abrigo” by Melim for their private last dance, closing out the evening on this elegant Cypress Grove Estate House wedding.
