GREET YOUR GUESTS

We highly encourage Soundwave Newlyweds to talk on the microphone.  Either before the meal or as the meal is ending, get on the microphone and thank your guests for attending.  It’s also super sweet to say something about your new spouse. It is very personable, guests love it, and it makes for a great photo.

FORMAL INTRODUCTIONS

Forget the formal tradition of introducing a big wedding party!  Shake it up a bit and have some fun!  Soundwave DJs encourages brides and grooms to introduce the Wedding Party as a big group and nix announcing them as pairs and naming them individually.  It takes less time, the wedding party loves it, it’s quick, makes for a great photo and BEST OF ALL it keeps the focus on the Bride and Groom!

TOASTS

Keep toasts to a maximum of 2-3 total. Additionally, ensure toasts last no longer than 2-3 minutes each or else you will lose your guests attention. Also, DO NOT FORCE anyone to speak on the microphone!  Make sure whoever is speaking wants to speak and is engaging!
